why fly?

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to go for a flip over the Swiss Alps in a small 2 seater plane. It was absolutely spectacular to see the Alps, which over the years have become our snowboarding and mountain biking playgrounds, from that birds-eye perspective.

And this is what we saw...

So the question is why would anyone even want to leave a country like Switzerland... it's quite possibly one of the most picturesque countries in the world, high standard of living, low taxes, blah, blah, blha... why?

And the answer is simple, our lives are calling for change and we intend to embrace it. We are not leaving Switzerland because we have been unhappy here; on the contrary. But we are looking towards something new...

So for my wife and I this is a very exciting moment in our lives, to go back to my home country (incidentally also incredibly beautiful) and start new a life with new adventures.
